My goddaughter has a G-tube and so do her baby friends. To make it easier to access the G-tube button I putt in a welt pocket. This is just a neater way to put a hole in the onsie.
Here is how its done..
first sew on top a pocket flap and strip of fabric like so.
Then cut between the strip and the pocket flap, cuting into a Y on both corners like shown where my fingers are.
Now tucking in/flipping the strip in side the cut and putting the pocket flap down top stitch around to hold seems in place. Ta-da! now add your choice of velcro or snap to close pocket flapp!
Thanks for reading. Stay fresh!
