Girls drindle skirt with wide waistband

Making a drindle skirt is very simple and quick! I chose to have the waistband flat in front and elastic in back, so I had to gather the fabric for the front of the skirt to fit on the front waistband.

For the back I did not gather the skirt I just stitched the waist band right on to the skirt. I then stitched along the waistband to allow for the elastic to go through.

There are three pieces of narrow elastic in the back because I don't have wide elastic. as you can see below how the back looks with this design style.

Then a full front photo! completed in about an hour and a half.
