Pattern making in college

While in college for pattern making I made a WonderWoman costume, which I hand beaded the eagle. A velvet dress an awesome pair of jeans I wore out a Tinkerbell costume and a half size twelve 1920′s inspired dress.
When making patterns it usually takes about a week to make a slopper in the size the item will be in and then another week to make and perfect the pattern for the finished product.
Sewing is a puzzle, it takes a lot a patience and out-of-the-box thinking to figure out how your going to get the zipper in and sew the lining neatly while sometimes the fabric is falling apart or your sewing machine is being uncooperative. While hoping in the end you wont find out you have sewn one of the sleeves in the neck hole or you sewed the hem into the waist of the dress.
Through it all I’ve made it and these are a few of the things I made. enjoy..
