Beautiful hand made bloomers/ diaper cover.

This pattern I made is the right cut too fit over a cloth diapered booty. Its one of the many children's items that I have constructed from scratch.

Molly's g-tube bear is sporting this gorgeous country flower gal bloomer. It is a size 12-18 months, with a pretty floral print for the bloomer and two ruffles one of white eyelet and the bottom of a linen type weave of a light brown color.

 As for the picture above you can see the butt ruffle is higher in the middle and slopes down and then back up at the sides. This style of ruffle I hand laid box pleat style. I Like the way a box pleat ruffle lays more than the gathered ruffle.

Here is a wonderful picture showing the texture of the materials. I love sewing because I love the texture of most fabrics! One of my favorite things about a finished garment is the stitching, to me they look like beads laid perfectly in a string.

The two ruffles wrap around to the sides of the bloomer for style purposes.

It has been a while since I last posted because the sewing machine I was using broke! But I have finally got a new machine. It was not my dream machine but it works like a champ and has great qualities of its own!
